Red Reef Park
1400 N. State Road A1A
Stop by Red Reef Park, it's a 67 acre ocean front park which includes Gumbo Limbo Environmental Education Center on over 20 acres. It is a day time park with hours of operation from 8am - 10pm, 7 days per week. Gumbo Limbo Nature Center is open Monday-Saturday 9am-4pm and also on Sunday from Noon-4pm. This park has a picnic area with grills, tables & restrooms. Sorry no open fires are permitted. Facilities are first come first serve only. Sorry no pets allowed at this park or on the beach. Lifeguards are on duty year round from 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Snorkeling is popular at the south end of the beach because there are unique rock formations. Take a nature walk through heavily foliated areas and key your eye out for wild life, mainly birds and beach creatures.
South Beach Park
400 N. State Road A1A
Recently redeveloped for expanded parking and other amenities. This beach park opens at 8am, closes at Sunset, 7 days per week. There are no picnic facilities at this beach, but there are other beaches close by with Grills and Pavilions for parties and events. Swimming is allowed with 3 designated location, lifeguards are on duty from 9am - 5pm, with extended hours in the summer. Fishing is allowed, but not in the designated swimming areas.
South Inlet Park
1298 S. Ocean Blvd
Hours are from Sunrise to Sunset at this 11 acre park. Adventures at this park can include: Salt water fishing from the pier or jetty, volley ball. Picnic at the pavilion and there are restroom facilities, outdoor showers and parking.
Spanish River Park
3001 N. State Road A1A
One of Boca Raton's favorites, this park has something for everyone. Plenty of picnic areas shaded by the canopy of forest, offering grills, restroom facilities & playgrounds for the kids, young and old. The best part about this part is the peaceful park is the water on both sides. On the west side is the intercoastal & lagoon, and to the east, venture through a long tunnel (under A1A) through the beach.
